Meet the Crew

Valeria Valdés Cosilión

Producer

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico and having moved to the states at seven-years-old, Valeria Valdés Cosilión learned the value of storytelling at a young age. Stories became an important part of her life and helped her stay connected with her family and her culture. Her passion for movies, stories, and theatrical performances led her to pursue an education at Arizona State University and double majoring in Management and Film and Media Production with a focus in Producing. She has produced such short films as “A Sound in the Night,” “Choice,” “The Creative Struggle,” and the music video “My Future.” With one year left before graduating, Ms. Valdes Cosilión will be working hard to bring this film to life and will complete the production prior to graduating in Spring 2022.

Taryea Terry

Cinematographer

Originally from Indiana, Taryea has loved film and television since she was a child. She was constantly mesmerized by the countless stories that were showcased on screens both big and small. Since then, she has decided to pursue a career in cinematography because of its unique ability to show various themes and emotions completely through visuals. She’s currently a junior at Arizona State University.  Here, she is studying Film and Media Production, with an emphasis on cinematography. So far, she has worked on numerous short films and a few music videos. She is excited to continue her work as a cinematographer and further her career in the film industry.

Will Hoxie

Cinematographer

Will Hoxie is a third year ASU student. He is in the Film & Media Production program with an emphasis in editing. He's worked on films such as Breathless (2021), Known Caller (2021), & Based On A True Story (2020). Will chose editing as an emphasis because he believes the process can truly make or break a film. He also believes that pacing is a crucial aspect of film that when perfected can improve the viewing ability greatly. 

Joseph Loza

Writer/Director

In a truly marvelous age, Joseph found inspiration in the variety of entertainment that was available to him. Localized programs from overseas, along with standard American programming made for a wonderful mix that inspired him to create an amalgamation of all his inspirations. He is now a third year ASU student, within the Film & Media Program with an emphasis in directing. He has worked on films such as That Summer Night (2021), BUD (2021), & What Is Really Meant To Be (2020). Joseph will continue his studies & complete his education in Spring 2022, where he will further his pursuit of filmmaking.
